I returned to my room, thinking about what just happened and how Ezekiel changed the topic by telling Raya that this was her punishment for raising her
hand on the future Luna of the pack. I cringed inwardly at that thought.
I was thinking about all this. Jade came into my room and looked at it with her mouth wide open. It was an insult to call it a room. It was more like

“Yeah! You’re right” I nodded my head at her suggestion. She would have talked more bui had to leave when Alpha Tristan came to my room to talk with me.
Once she left, I looked at him in confusion about what he had to talk about. He rushed towards me in anger, and before I could understand, he grabbed my right wrist and broke it. I screamed in pain, and he let my hand go, watching me furiously.
Tears rolled out of my eyes, and I realized why he broke my wrist almost in the same

way that Ezekiel did to Raya. “How dare you break Raya’s hand?” He growled at me, and I looked at him as if he had
grown two heads.
Don’t tell me that she lied to him by showing her fake crocodile tears about the incident, and he believed it. I actually broke her mother’s hand, and he didn’t believe that part. It was clear that her influence on him was greater than I could imagine.
“Hurting Raya physically was never the plan, so if I see her in pain again, then I will break all your bones,” he warned. I didn’t explain anything to him when he had already

who hurt his Raya. “Here,” he forced me to take a tablet. “Eat it after you’re done with your
crying. It will heal you quickly like a werewolf.”
He left, leaving me crying in pain.
What was Dad thinking before agreeing to a marriage with this monster?

Well, this was what I thought until my eyes were wide open in the middle of the night, staring at his red eyes. I opened my mouth to scream and would have looked for my dagger, but, surprisingly, neither I could scream nor move my hand.
My hand was bound with a silver handcuff with bedhead, and my mouth was taped shut by my asshole mate. My comforter was gone. I
wondered how he got inside.
