Kendric held her fingers and kissed them gently.
She withdrew her fingers and got up to fetch him the lunch box. “Wanna
have lunch? I cooked it.”
He held her hand and leaded her to sit on the sofa. “Then I want you to
have lunch with me.”
After lunch, Celeste offered to take a walk downstairs, but was refused by
Kendric.
He held her in arms and lazily lay on the sofa, unwilling to move.
Celeste was surrounded by his scent, and gradually, she drifted into sleep.
Kendric gently released her. He went out to make a few phone calls and deal with company affairs. When he returned, Celeste was still in sleep.

She looked out the window. The sky had turned dark, and the temperature
outside had dropped.
Kendric placed a kiss on her forehead. “You wanna go out?”
“Not really.” She shook her head. It’s chilly in the evening.
He shamelessly added, “good. Then we can continue sleeping until
evening.”
Celeste rolled her eyes. She pushed him away to get up. She didn’t wanna skip dinner because her stomach was rumbling now.
But she was pulled back by Kendric.
She tried to pry open his hand. “Kendric!”
She pretended to be angry, but he was not afraid of her. She angrily pinched his cheeks. “Let go of me.”

She gritted her teeth and tried to bite him. Kendric quickly lifted her chin, and she accidentally bit down on his lips.
Then he had the initiative entirely. In an instant, he pried open her lips, and his tongue rushing in to find her soft tongue eagerly.
Celeste tightly shut her eyes. His hand wandered from her chin, to her neck, and down to her collarbone.
“Oh, seems we came at the wrong time!”
The sudden voice startled them. Celeste was so shocked that she
instinctively pushed Kendric away. He was pushed off the sofa.

As Celeste realized what happened, she reached out to pull him, but he had
already rolled onto the floor from the sofa.
“Oh sorry, we didn’t mean to disturb. But you forgot to lock the door,”
Sharon joked.
Celeste blushed, and she hurriedly helped Kendric up.
Kendric showed no embarrassment at all. Instead, he frowned and looked at the two unexpected guests. “Why are you here?”
Adrian smiled, “we come to see how Mr. Melville got kicked off the sofa by his wife. Ha!”
Sharon gave him a pinch on the arm. “We came to see if you have fully recovered.”
“I’m good, and if you didn’t come to disturb, I would be better,” he said.
Adrian’s smile on his face deepened, “Mr. Melville, don’t be so angry. You can go on the kiss after we left.”
Celeste‘ face blushed scarlet, and she shot Kendric a glare.
Sharon felt the atmosphere had dropped into awkwardness, so she pulled Adrian, preparing to leave. “Ken, the project is progressing well, and I plan to leave next week.”

They got into the car and was ready to find a restaurant for dinner.
Even during dinner, Celeste was pondering hard. Kendric slightly pinched her cheek, “have dinner first.”

where did I meet her? I’m driving crazy by curiosity.”

So Celeste finished the dinner as fast as she could, then looked at him with anticipation. Kendric couldn’t help but laugh.
He reached over and gently tapped her eyelids, then her nose, and finally her lips.
Celeste was running out of her patience. She grabbed his hand and urged, “hurry up and tell me!”
