In the evening, Kendric called Celeste to invite her to dinner, but she

you home.”

weird and embarrassing if I asked. ”

“Kendric–you don’t need to explain to me. It’s your freedom. I don’t mind if
you have a new girlfriend. It’s fine the way it is now. You’ve found your
happiness, and I will find mine.”
