Chapter 93
Not long after, Emilia received a call from Yuliana, the heiress of Anderson Group.
“Emilia, you’re still alive?” A pretty woman’s voice came from the other end of the phone while she clenched her teeth in anger and even choked.
“Thanks to you, I haven’t died yet.”
When Emilia heard the voice on the phone that was familiar to her, she smiled slightly.
Yuliana and Emilia had known each other since childhood.
When Yuliana knew something had happened to the Saunders family, she burst into tears.
Yuliana would have gone to Saunders Group to confirm Emilia’s return personally when she heard that the daughter of the Saunders family had returned. However, her own company’s workload was too much.
“If it wasn’t for my blessings, you should stay hidden,” Yuliana said on the phone. Emilia’s identity was pretty much confirmed when she heard the familiar voice. Because of this, Yuliana was angry that Emilia hadn’t contacted her for so many years. “I also know you wouldn’t ask for my help if you didn’t need it. So, what is the problem now? It’s not related to a crazy guy, is it?”
Emilia’s rosy lips curled slightly, and she suspected Yuliana had been. bugging her. “I heard Nathan wanted to collaborate with you.”
“That’s indeed the case. We’re planning to discuss it tonight.”
“Yuliana, do me a favor and ask him for something”
Because of her friendship with Yuliana, Emilia did not beat around the bush and directly expressed her intentions.
“That’s my father’s relic, a set of antique porcelain bowls, and I need to retrieve it. Previously, because Jason was in charge of Saunders Group, we could not reach an agreement with Anderson Group for
collaboration. Now that I’m in control, I promise our collaboration will continue!”
“Don’t be so distant with me!” Yuliana said with dissatisfaction. “Lia, even if you
don’t want to collaborate with me, I’ll still help you with this favor.

Emilia was silent when she heard what Yuliana said.
Due to the issues with Victoria and Jason, she ha
been somewhat affected and felt that no one in this world would trust or help her unconditionally. She had become somewhat narrow–minded in her thinking.
“No, we will always be good friends. Thank you, Yuliana!” After a while, Emilia uttered gently, “And collaborating with Anderson Group was something I had in mind from the beginning, not a decision I made just to get those antique porcelain bowls back.”
Emilia looked out of the window at the clear sky, and it felt like the limitless future of Saunders Group, the path she would take in the days ahead, hoping to encounter no obstacles along the way.
“That’s more like it!” Yuliana agreed to Emilia’s request.
So, when Yuliana met Nathan that evening, she did not mention any other requests. She only expressed her desire to retrieve the antique porcelain bowls.
When Yuliana mentioned antique porcelain bowls, Nathan thought of the set that had been sent to Saunders Group.
“Previously, Anderson Group only requested a 10% profit share after the collaboration was finalized, without mentioning anything about antique porcelain bowls.”
Nathan showed his displeasure. He did not like this kind of last–minute change in the agreement.
Yuliana’s eyes were filled with sincerity as she replied, “So now we’re willing to give up 10% of the profits. All we need is this set of antique porcelain bowls. Mr. Miller, you won’t refuse, will you?”
For some reason, Nathan’s fingers interlocked as he fell silent for a moment. His gaze darkened, and he responded, “I’m sorry, but I don’t have the item you mentioned, Ms. Anderson.”
Yuliana was taken aback by his response and stunned for a second. “As far as I know, Mr. Miller acquired a set of antique porcelain bowls at the last auction in Radford. We’re offering this with much sincerity. Mr. Miller, are you unwilling to bring them out?”

The atmosphere became tense at once.
As Nathan’s assistant, Shawn became somewhat anxious upon hearing Yuliana’s words. “It’s not that Mr. Miller is unwilling to bring them out, but he has already given away the set of antique porcelain bowls!”
“Given away to someone?”
Yuliana started to look a little worried.
“Ms. Anderson, could you consider another request? This set of antique porcelain bowls…” Shawn was about to try to ease the tension further, but Nathan held out his hand to stop Shawn–from continuing.
Nathan’s face remained tense, and his deep gaze was filled with curiosity. “As far as I know, Ms. Anderson, you’re not an antiques collector. Why do you suddenly want this set of antique porcelain bowls?”
After all, they were there to discuss collaboration. If he knew his opponent and himself well, he wouldn’t be threatened in a hundred battles.
So, Nathan had someone to investigate Yuliana and Anderson Group’s publicly available information.
Nathan became even more certain of his suspicions as he watched the troubled look on Yuliana’s face.
His expression turned cold, and his handsome face was gloomy. Nathan asked, “Who told you to come and request this set of antique porcelain. bowls from me?”
