Emilia stared at Nathan and pursed her lips, obviously unhappy.
However, Nathan was not a person who would be threatened. He stood in front of her without giving in and frowned slightly. “What’s the relationship between you and that man?”
He followed Emilia involuntarily and wanted to explain the incident about Madeline.
Somehow, the image of Martin protecting Emilia kept appearing in his mind. Nathan also recalled Emilia looked at ease when she was by Martin’s side.

Emilia was even more amused.
She thought, “As the one who has played with my feelings for three years, what is his mentality when he said that others have ulterior motives?”
An ex–husband had no right to judge his ex–wife’s current situation.
Seeing the evident sarcasm in her eyes, Nathan paused slightly. “Don’t overthink. I’m doing this for your good. I’m worried you’ll trust the wrong person.”
Emilia took a step back and slightly pursed her red lips, appearing distant. Her eyes were indifferent. “It’s my business. Don’t bother. Mr. Miller, when you have the time, why not think about the bidding later? You’ll definitely lose.”
When she needed Nathan, he did not even look at her. At that moment, when Emilia did not need it, Nathan became caring for her.
The evident taunt annoyed Nathan, but he could not get angry.

Although he was not proficient in software, he had a wide range of experience. Besides, Miller Group had a professional team for software development and social media operations. Saunders Group could not compete with them at all.
Seeing that Nathan was silent, Emilia remarked, “You don’t have to worry about my problem. Just mind your own business.”
Nathan frowned after hearing her words. “Emilia, I’m giving you advice. Don’t drag down Saunders Group because of your impulsiveness and risky behavior. Miller Group is determined to get this software. You can’t compete with us.”
Emilia sneered and mentally commented, “Advice? It’s probably a warning.
If Emilia backed down, it would not be her true self.
She thought, “Dragging down the Saunders Group? Is he looking down on me?”
Emilia raised her eyebrows slightly with a bit of arrogance and provocation. “Then let’s try. It’s hard to say who will win. Just you watch!”
