Nathan clenched his fists unconsciously and was on the verge of punching Martin. But as far as he could see, Emilia didn’t have the slightest intention to draw a line with Martin. Instead, she let the man hold her as he pleased.
On the contrary, Emilia had always been resistant to Nathan’s touch. Nathan was particularly annoyed at the thought of that.

“Mr. Parker, please watch your words!” When he heard Nathan being taunted, Shawn, who had always been loyal, subconsciously defended his boss.

Nathan’s eyes fell on Martin’s hand clasping Emilia’s shoulder, and his thin lips pursed tightly in displeasure.

Outsiders naturally included Martin and Madeline.
That was originally a matter between Nathan and Emilia, and there was no room for interference from others.

Upon hearing Nathan’s words about the termination of collaboration, Madeline was taken aback and exclaimed inwardly, “No… Not this! Things are not supposed to go in this direction!”
“I’ve finally attained the position of editor–in–chief of the magazine. If I can’t get the partnership with Miller Group, then I… No!” she exclaimed inwardly again.
Madeline ran up to Nathan and tugged at his sleeve as she cried out loud. “Mr. Miller… Y–You can’t do this to me! You know I’m a friend of your mother! What’s more…
“Shawn, take her away!” Nathan immediately shook off Madeline and smoothed out the creases on his cuffs in disgust. With a cold face, he ordered Shawn, “Also, tell all the branches and business departments under the company to permanently blacklist this person and her magazine.”
Madeline yelled that she had been sent there by Fiona to do all those things. Hearing that, Emilia narrowed her eyes and sneered.

Right then, Emilia thought she had made the right decision to divorce Nathan.
