Shawn’s eyes widened in shock. He didn’t expect Emilia to say such words. When he noticed the meaningful gazes from the bystanders, he suddenly felt like he had stumbled upon something incredibly significant.
After saying that, Emilia could sense a menacing and scorching gaze fixated on her back. It was as if someone was trying to pierce through her with his eyes.
Without turning around, she knew precisely where that gaze was coming from.

Emilia shot a harsh glare at Nathan before redirecting her attention to Madeline. There was a touch of coldness in her expression. “Ms. Jimenez, it seems that the slap earlier was not enough to wake you up.”
