Chapter 114
Emilia’s body became warmer after she was wrapped in the blanket.
Emilia snorted and thought, “I’m not going to argue with you.”
When she looked up, she was met with Nathan’s deep eyes that were like the night sky.

“Do you want to tell me something?” Nathan stared at her.
Emilia put on her anti–blue light glasses and avoided his gaze. She replied coldly, “Nothing. I’m going to work now. Let’s not talk to each other since nothing happened.”
She then continued to work on her own. It seemed that she was ignoring” his existence, but only she knew it herself that she didn’t manage to read. a word from her laptop screen.
After the plane flew for a period of time, it was almost noon. The flight attendants pushed out the trolleys and began to arrange the passengers‘ airline meals.
When a flight attendant arrived at Emilia and Nathan’s seats, she bent. down with a standard smile and asked softly, “What would you like to have?”
When Emilia was about to speak, Nathan’s calm voice could be heard beside her.
“Smoked tuna, salad, roasted lamb chops, and mango pudding. All served for two. And a glass of Brandy.”
After he replied, Nathan glanced at Emilia and motioned the flight attendant to leave.

This jerk! Why did he try to decide everything on his own?” Emilia wondered.
“Miss, please wait a minute.” Emilia glanced at Nathan and smiled. apologetically. “I’m sorry. I just need one serving for the order just now. I would like a meatball pasta. Thank you.”
Nathan’s eyes darkened when he heard Emilia’s order.
“Emilia, there is parsley in the meatball pasta. Do you want to eat it and pass out on the plane?”
Emilia was a bit stunned.
She had almost forgotten that she was allergic to parsley. Once, she had a bite of peppercorn beef patties and forgot that there was parsley in it. Then, she had an allergy reaction and almost got hypoxia.
“But how did Nathan know?” she wondered.
In fact, when Nathan blurted out that sentence, he was stunned as well.
“Why did I say that inexplicably?” he also wondered.
The flight attendant looked at them both, and it finally dawned on her. She smiled. “Sir, you really care about your wife.”
Emilia almost fainted. “We’re not…”
Nathan interrupted her and instructed the flight attendant intensely, “Just serve as I ordered just now.”
Emilia pursed her lips and said nothing.
Soon, their airline meals were delivered.
Emilia was really hungry.
She reached out to get the fork. Nathan had already handed it to her, and she took it unintentionally.

The two of them were having lunch separately, but the atmosphere seemed a little ambiguous.
Emilia pretended to be calm while she ate the lamb chop, but her heart was a bit chaotic.
Nathan stared at her profoundly. He didn’t say anything even after a long
time.
Both of them finished their meal in silence.
After lunch, Nathan took out his laptop and started working. Emilia was a little sleepy.
She gently leaned against the back of her chair and closed her eyes to rest. There was a slight sound of tapping on the keyboard in her ears. The sound was actually not loud, but it somehow irritated her.
She couldn’t fall asleep.
Out of curiosity, she secretly opened one eye and caught a glimpse of Nathan. His slender fingers were tapping rapidly on the keyboard as though they were dancing.
It was just an ordinary action of typing, but it was visually attractive when it was Nathan who was doing it.
When she looked at his face, his side profile was as if covered with a faint layer of gold under the sunlight. His prominent nose and sharp jawline made him look resolute and cold.
He stared at his laptop screen intently. He was so concentrated that he didn’t even notice Emilia was watching him secretly.
And she was sizing him up more keenly.
In her three years of marriage with Nathan, she had never seen him at work, apparently.
When he was in the company, she didn’t dare to look for him because she thought it would have attracted too much attention.
At other times, he had worked in the study, and she had never disturbed. him. Even the soup she had prepared was brought by a housekeeper.
