After she sent Yuliana away, Emilia dialed a number on the intercom.
Currently, in Saunders Group, Raymond was the person she could trust. the most, so she called him over.
“I’m going to Acocester to attend the New Media Summit in two days. Please keep an eye on the company’s affairs for me.”
Raymond smiled after he heard Emilia’s instruction. “Don’t worry. I will keep an eye on the company for you.”
With Raymond’s help, Emilia could feel at ease even if she was leaving.
Emilia handled some important matters at hand in the past three days. The two projects that had entered the final stage were left to Raymond for further follow–up. The rest of her work could be handled remotely after she arrived at Acocester.
After everything was settled, Emilia began to look forward to going to Acocester.
Three days later, Emilia was driven to Radford Airport by her assistant.
She didn’t like having a group of people following her. Moreover, she was familiar with Acocester. Thus, she only carried a small suitcase without
any entourage.
After she checked in, it was still early. Emilia ordered a cup of coffee, sat in the VIP lounge, and waited to board the plane.
She caught a glimpse of someone who seemed to be familiar but when she fixed her eyes on the person again, it seemed that she didn’t know
anyone.
Emilia smiled to herself. Maybe she didn’t sleep well, so her vision was blurred.
She didn’t know at this time what kind of surprise her schedule would. bring her.
About 40 minutes before the plane took off, an announcement was broadcast. “Passengers heading to Acocester, please note that your flight AU3265 is boarding now. Please take your belongings with you and have your boarding pass ready. Please proceed to Gate 4. Have a nice trip.”

Emilia’s seat was close to the air vent. She was only wearing a short skirt, so the cool wind from the air conditioner was blowing on her leg, which made her getting goosebumps.
She looked up and beckoned a flight attendant not far away. “Please give me a blanket. Thank you.”
After she requested the blanket, Emilia looked back at her screen and continued to check the reports.
Soon, a blanket was handed to her.
Emilia looked at the screen intently and didn’t look up.
She thought that it was the flight attendant who came with the blanket. She thanked the flight attendant when she received it.
However, the other party didn’t let go of the blanket.
Emilia pulled the blanket slightly. She looked up in confusion when the blanket didn’t move and met a man’s meaningful eyes.
“How come it’s you?”
The unexpected encounter with Nathan on the plane surprised her.

Nathan noticed the subtle change. There was a trace of gloominess in his

When the plane took off, the temperature in the cabin became lower.
Emilia couldn’t help but sneeze, so she asked the flight attendant to bring her another blanket.
However, the flight attendant informed her, “I’m so sorry, we are out of blankets already.”
The flight attendant smiled apologetically. She saw the blanket in
Nathan’s hand and turned to ask him, Sir, could you give your blanket to this miss?”
“Sure.”
After he replied, Nathan raised his eyebrows slightly and waited for Emilia to take it.
Emilia hesitated for a moment. The next second, the blanket was on top of her head.
She lifted the blanket. Her hair was a little messy, and she turned gloomier
But before she could start talking, she heard him muttered faintly, “You just sneezed. Cover up properly, and you’re welcome.”

Chapter 114
Emilia’s body became warmer after she was wrapped in the blanket.
Emilia snorted and thought, “I’m not going to argue with you.”
When she looked up, she was met with Nathan’s deep eyes that were like the night sky.
Her heart skipped a beat, and she suddenly was speechless.
Emilia had no interest in why Nathan was on the plane. In fact, she wanted to know the reason he gave her the antique porcelain bowl. Moreover, he gifted her that way.
Emilia opened her lips slightly but eventually turned her head around.
“It doesn’t matter anymore! I don’t want to know whether it was because he felt guilty and wanted to make up for it or he had other reasons. don’t want to know anything,” she exclaimed inwardly.
“Do you want to tell me something?” Nathan stared at her.
Emilia put on her anti–blue light glasses and avoided his gaze. She replied coldly, “Nothing. I’m going to work now. Let’s not talk to each other since nothing happened.”
She then continued to work on her own. It seemed that she was ignoring” his existence, but only she knew it herself that she didn’t manage to read. a word from her laptop screen.
After the plane flew for a period of time, it was almost noon. The flight attendants pushed out the trolleys and began to arrange the passengers‘ airline meals.
When a flight attendant arrived at Emilia and Nathan’s seats, she bent. down with a standard smile and asked softly, “What would you like to have?”
When Emilia was about to speak, Nathan’s calm voice could be heard beside her.
“Smoked tuna, salad, roasted lamb chops, and mango pudding. All served for two. And a glass of Brandy.”
After he replied, Nathan glanced at Emilia and motioned the flight attendant to leave.

This jerk! Why did he try to decide everything on his own?” Emilia wondered.
“Miss, please wait a minute.” Emilia glanced at Nathan and smiled. apologetically. “I’m sorry. I just need one serving for the order just now. I would like a meatball pasta. Thank you.”
Nathan’s eyes darkened when he heard Emilia’s order.
“Emilia, there is parsley in the meatball pasta. Do you want to eat it and pass out on the plane?”
Emilia was a bit stunned.
She had almost forgotten that she was allergic to parsley. Once, she had a bite of peppercorn beef patties and forgot that there was parsley in it. Then, she had an allergy reaction and almost got hypoxia.
“But how did Nathan know?” she wondered.

Soon, their airline meals were delivered.

He stared at his laptop screen intently. He was so concentrated that he didn’t even notice Emilia was watching him secretly.
And she was sizing him up more keenly.
In her three years of marriage with Nathan, she had never seen him at work, apparently.
When he was in the company, she didn’t dare to look for him because she thought it would have attracted too much attention.
