Nathan was furious, but when he mentioned Emilia, he subconsciously didn’t want to use harsh words to describe her.
After a pause, Nathan said coldly, “She ruined our cooperation and got close to that pretty boy, making it seem like they’re a couple. Does she take me for a fool?”
Looking at Nathan’s cold and angry expression, Adrian was somehow surprised.
Nathan had never been interested in Emilia before. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have divorced each other.
However, now Adrian realized his previous judgment might not be so
accurate.
Adrian had a curious look on his face as he teased Nathan, raising his eyebrows and playfully asking, “But you are already divorced. Why are you still entangled with her? Could it be that old flames are reigniting?”
Nathan frowned at that remark.
“Entangled?” he thought. “How could I possibly be entangled with Emilia? I’ve never loved her, and I certainly won’t love her now! As for old flames. reigniting, there are no old flames to begin with!”
It was just that the way she completely disregarded him was something. he couldn’t accept.
The thought of Emilia lying and manipulating Yuliana to demand the- antique porcelain bowl from him made Nathan seethe with anger.
“She ruined Miller Group’s cooperation with Anderson Group,” he said.
Upon hearing this revelation, Adrian narrowed his eyes slightly.
Nathan highly valued the cooperation between Anderson Group and Miller Group. After all, the scandal involving Jessica had recently occurred, affecting the entire Miller Group.
An investment from Anderson Group was exactly what Nathan needed right now. Collaborating with Anderson Group would improve Miller Group’s reputation and stabilize its stock prices.

No wonder Nathan was upset, but Adrian wondered if that was really the whole truth.

Nathan shot Adrian a glance and let out a cold chuckle. “You’re overthinking it. How could I be bothered by her being with someone. else? At most, it’s just…”
Nathan’s expression darkened, and he didn’t continue his sentence.
Emilia was his woman, even if it was in the past. She couldn’t just get close to another man so quickly, mocking and ridiculing him in front of that man.
“She has some nerve!” he thought.
Adrian crossed his legs and changed his posture. Then, he squinted at Nathan. “My people reported that when they helped you park your car, they saw the front of your car in a terrible state. So, did you have a bad mood and rammed into them with your car?”
Adrian looked at Nathan tentatively, and his tone carried a hint of teasing. Nathan caught on to it.
He didn’t see anything wrong with admitting it. He raised an eyebrow playfully, his eyes carrying a touch of wickedness. “That’s right. I rammed that pretty boy’s car.”
Adrian clicked his tongue in disbelief. He was momentarily silent, feeling. a mixture of emotions.
“Just because of Emilia, he has gone to such lengths as to damage Someone’s car?” he thought.
Considering that Nathan had rarely lost his temper since taking over the company, this was the first time he had seen him act so recklessly.
It seemed that Emilia had a much deeper impression of Nathan than he had initially thought.
However, the person involved seemed unaware of it.
Adrian twisted his lips, casually pulled out a cigarette, and lit it. Then, he asked casually, “You’ve never done such impulsive and childish things before. Could it be that you’ve fallen in love with Emilia?”
Nathan sneered as if he had heard a joke, and a hint of something different flashed in his eyes. “Impossible.”
“Is this some kind of joke? I couldn’t possibly have feelings for Emilia. That is out of the question for this lifetime,” he thought.
