Chapter 17
Mia slept well in the room that Yosef prepared for her.
She had top–of–the–line computers in the Base, but the bed there was not as soft and comfortable as the one Yosef purchased.
“Yosef is so considerate. This is definitely the best gift I’ve ever received,” she thought.
Being in a good mood, she was even hungrier for breakfast.
Seeing this, Lily poured another glass of milk for her.
Sophia suddenly lost her appetite and stayed quiet, lowering her head.
She thought, “Dammit, Mia. Let’s see if you can keep this going!”
“Mia, I understand that you finished your courses and did well. But college life is a unique life experience. Why not enjoy it? Otherwise, you might regret it,” said Simba.
Mia thought for a moment and replied, “I agree, Dad. I’ll go to class today.”
Although Mr. Brown knew who she really was, her parents were unaware. To avoid worrying them, it would be best for her to attend school like any other student.
Furthermore, she had no assigned task to carry out. Concealing her identity and going to school would not cause any harm.
“I’m glad you get it. I hope you can make more friends,” Simba said. He realized that Mia had always been by herself and might have some trouble interacting with others and thought that making more friends might help her improve her relationship with her brothers, who were hard to get along with.
“Thanks, Dad. I’ll do it,” Mia answered with a nod. Despite her organization friends, she lacked regular companionship. She didn’t quite fit the mold of a typical student.
Sophia said, “Mia, I’m also going to sc
. today. I’ll give you a ride.”
Sophia had a chauffeur to drive her to and from school. Mia had recently come back and didn’t have a car yet. Her invitation appeared to be quite fitting and also relieved her parents‘ concerns.
Mia noticed that Sophia appeared very proud, as though owning a car was a remarkable accomplishment.
“I have multiple cars overseas. I don’t need yours,” she thought with disdain.
Just as she was about to say no, the butler came up to Simba, followed by someone who appeared to be a driver.
The driver respectfully looked at Simba and said, “Sir, Mr. Zeke told me to take the car to Miss Smith.”
The people present were stunned. “Zeke sent Mia a car?”
“Yes, Mr. Zeke knows that Miss Smith is back, but he’s too busy overseas to come himself, so he sent me to deliver the car as a nice gesture,” the driver said politely.

Chapter 17
The Wilsons thought that it was too much of a coincidence that Zeke gave Mia a car just when she needed it.
Simba was thrilled and told Mia, “Zeke loves cars more than anything. Each of his cars is a limited edition, and he rarely gifts cars to others. You can see how much he appreciates you.”
Mia was surprised.
She thought, “I got a fancy room last night and now I have a car. Is this what it means to have brothers? That’s fantastic!”
Sophia’s face was distorted with rage, and her eyes were filled with jealousy.
Although her brothers were kind to her, they had never been particularly generous with her.
All of Zeke’s cars were rare versions, and each one was worth millions of dollars…
She and Mia were both his sisters. Why did he treat Mia so much better than her?!
“Thank Zeke for me. I’ll invite him to dinner once he’s back,” said Mia. She felt no need to decline a quality car that came at the perfect moment.
The driver smiled and said, “Yes, I’ll deliver your message, Miss Wilson.”
As everyone finished eating, Simba got up and suggested, “Let’s check out the car that Zeke gave you. If you’re not happy with it, I’ll buy you a new one.”
“There’s no need. I’ll like it regardless of how it looks. It represents Zeke’s kindness,” Mia said with an awkward smile. She had many cars under the alias Carlos, but as her true self, she didn’t own one and felt content with this one.
“I’ll go and have a look too,” said Lily, trailing behind them.
Sophia was left behind and walked out reluctantly and jealously.
Under the beautiful sunlight, a limite uition Bugatti was parked by the entrance of Wilson Manor.
Mia was amazed by Zeke’s kindness. He gifted her a limited–edition sports car from last
year,
which was no longer available and, hence, very valuable. She would surely turn heads while driving it.
Furthermore, she liked the car’s look and design.
Both his gift and Yosef’s gift satisfied her taste. They were indeed blood–related and had the same preferences.
The driver could tell from her eyes that she liked this car very much and said, “If you ever get
tired of this car, Mr. Wilson said that you can approach him anytime to switch it out for a different one.”
Mia was moved by Zeke’s thoughtfulness. She politely told the driver, “Please let Zeke know that I really appreciate this car, and I’ll come see him soon.”
He said that she could select a different car. It would be a shame if she didn’t take advantage of the opportunity.
“I should get going. Goodbye, Miss Smith,” said the driver.

Mia smiled and nodded. “Goodbye.”
Sophia looked at Mia standing next to the car, her eyes full of envy.
She had seen this car before and knew how much Zeke loved it. He wouldn’t even let her sit in the passenger seat, but he gave it to Mia!
Recalling this, she was overwhelmed by jealousy.
Her car was previously owned by her brothers and couldn’t compare to Mia’s car.
She said, “I’m so jealous of you, Mia. Zeke gave you an amazing car as soon as you got back. I used to ask Zeke to take me for a ride in this car, but he refused…”
Lily felt pity for her and wanted to make her feel better, so she said, “I was also impressed by Zeke’s thoughtfulness and generosity. Sophia, if you’d like to ride in this car, why not go to school together with Mia?”
It was true that Sophia liked this car, but she just wanted to possess it. She had no intention of witnessing how happy Mia was while driving it.
That would only make her even more jealous!
However, Lily was worried that she might feel neglected, so she turned to Mia and asked softly, “Mia, can you give your sister a ride?”
Mia glanced at Sophia gloatingly and noticed that she seemed upset. She pretended to be nice and said, “Sure, let’s go. Get in the car, Sophia.”
Sophia looked livid now.
She didn’t get the car, but she had to witness Mia’s driving it. It was very infuriating!
But with her parents present, she could only manage a forced smile and say, “That’s very kind of you. Thank you.”
But the moment she turned back to g
“This isn’t over!” she murmured.
r bag, her expression became extremely gloomy.
She would get back at Mia for all the embarrassment she endured today!
